Heavenly invasion as God encounters the lost in the mall!

February 21, 2009

I’ve been going  just outside Dudley recently to a nearby shopping mall with some friends from church, and God has opened up divine apointments and touched people through us because He wants to draw them to Himself.  Last week The Lord drew me to a group of 4 Asian young people. I felt led to ask them if any of them had pain in their body. One young lady confirmed she had painful feet. I prayed and she told me she felt a lightness and the pain just lifted off! I was able to tell her and her friends, none of them Christian, that Jesus is The Healer, and Jesus is The Son of God. I would have liked to talk more but they had to go.

Yesterday we went in again to the mall and had some meaningful contacts. I noticed a group of young people again, three in this case, and The Lord gave me words of knowledge to share with each of them which was good because they doubted the existence of God. This opened their heart to receive prayer. I prayed with one young man, he felt the touch of Holy Spirit, and I led him to Christ, and we agreed to keep in contact even though he lives some distance away from me. The young lady in the group who I had had a word about occult involvement was prayed for by Sarah, one of our group who goes to my church. The young lady confirmed that she had had a family history involving witchcraft. As Sarah prayed she too felt God’s touch, and Sarah led her to Jesus Christ.

There is a sense that while God continues to mature His church through His refining fire, we are on the verge of another wonderful move of God to bring in harvest. Going outside Dudley means that it may not be so easy to bring people into our church although I think this will happen anyway, but Jesus is building His church. The key is to share Christ. Of course we like it when people come into our church, but having been out on the streets for a long time now, I’m aware that people like having a real tangible encounter with God, one of the last things they want is more religion shoved down their throat and a feeling that they are being “recruited” to another organisation. As we build relationships with the people we come into contact with within our sphere of influence, whether that be on the streets, our workplace, our circle of friends, or whereever then people will naturally want to come to our church anyway because they are drawn to “Christ in us, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1 verse 27.

Divine appointments with God’s healing and saving power

January 31, 2009

God has been opening up divine appointments. This has been a relatively quiet season of prayer and reflection, and only recently have I started to go out on the streets again to share the full gospel. Last week I met a young man on the street just outside our church and invited him for coffee in our church. As I shared something of what I saw he opened up to me. I prayed for him and The Lord’s power touched him. He gave his life to Jesus. Today I went out with Tom and we met a young man with a leg injury. I asked him if he had sustained it playing football and he confirmed it. I believe this opened his heart to receive prayer, and he felt the pain go as we prayed for him. He was also able to move his toes, something he said he couldn’t do before without pain. We had some more contacts and Tom prayed for one man who had been suffering with high blood pressure.

I believe that as we get closer to The Lord he gives us a heart for the lost. As we minister out of His love and compassion so we can expect to see Him touch lives more powerfully through us. Although we seek outpourings and revivals, and it is right to do so, we must first seek Him, and through intimacy it becomes so much easier to share Kingdom truths with people in demonstration and power. If we feel our hearts getting colder, we need to position ourselves so we allow God to pour His love into our hearts. When we discover how much He loves us, we cannot but help fall more in love with Him. As we do so, we see people through His eyes of mercy and compassion. Miracles can abound as we abide in Him and in His love (read John 15) .

2008 review : the church empowered as miracles hit the streets in the UK and around the world!

December 8, 2008

Review of miracles on the streets  in 2008 with video footage, and the challenge for the church in 2009!

It was December 1994. My health had deteriorated, I’d split up with my fiance, and I didn’t want to live anymore. On December 10th I attempted suicide with my world shattered. Perhaps seconds from death, and a lost eternity someone rescued me and called for the ambulance. I still don’t know who it was, but I know they were Heaven sent. Half way across the world in California on the very same day, my wife to be, who I had never met at that stage, was attending the funeral of her late husband who had been mugged in Los Angeles. Within four years we were married as hope and destiny returned again. This year we celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. I love her more than anyone, except the one who gave His life for me nearly 2000 years ago, The Lord Jesus Christ.

If Christ  gave up everything to come into this world to die for you and me, what is worth sacrificing everything for? What is truly worth getting excited about? I get excited when I see Newcastle FC and the Minnesota Vikings win which happen too infrequently for my liking! But what really excites me is knowing The Creator of the universe, glorifying Him, knowing His love, and seeing Heaven break into Earth,   the supernatural intervening as a higher reality than natural law. I get excited when I see someone else experience God’s touch on their lives, and coming to know Him too. That’s worth fighting for, surrendering everything, even dying for. The wonderful thing is that every human being on planet Earth was created to know Jesus, and not only that, but be used as a vessel to see His miraculous touch break into other people’s lives. As I share some highlights from this year, I want you to know that God wants to use you in the coming year to bring Heaven to your sphere of influence.

in 2008 we saw a powerful outpouring of God’s Spirit hit the Western world for the purposes of empowering the worldwide church to evangelise the lost, not least through signs, wonders, and miracles. It brought opposition, controversy, failure, and a challenge to the church to get refined, yet despite this a lot of fruit and grounds for much optimism as we go into the new year. God is depositing His very glory into regular people like you and me, and releasing His gathering angels, so that His Kingdom will be extended. The question is do we let the new wine get old and stale? Of course we need new wineskins, but what will we do with the treasure we’ve been given in 2008?  As I share highlights of my street ministry activity in 2008, be encouraged that God wants to use you too because Acts 10 verse 34 tells us that God is no respector of persons ( Acts 10 verse 34 and Romans 2 verse 11) . To God alone be all the glory.

2008 review: On April 7th my wife Sasha and I went into town to share the love and power of Jesus Christ with someone. Sasha called out an elderly man for me to approach. He told us that he didn’t live in Dudley, and was legally blind in one eye. We prayed for him, and the power of God touched him. He gave his life to Jesus Christ. Here is his testimony recorded seconds after the double miracle. (apologies for the picture quality which was limited before June) :

Earlier in March, I had prayed for a lady stone deaf for over 10 years in her right ear, and Jesus had healed her ear. She testified about 2 weeks later:

In June Sasha, myself and a friend prayed for a group of people, some of whom got miraculously healed and saved. Here is one testimony:

One man testified of healing from a terminal lung condition after prayer, having had confirmation from his doctor!

One young woman, not a believer got touched by Jesus as we prayed for her in July. See the miracle unfold here:

There is much more video footage and testimonies, if you are interested go to the monthly archives on the right column of the blog.

I’ve done this blog to show people seeking spiritual truth that the answer is found in Jesus Christ. I want to motivate and encourage all Christians to share their faith, and pray for the sick and infirm, as well as releasing His presence and the prophetic, the demonstration of The Spirit’s power ( 1 Corinthians 2 verses 4-5). God wants to use all believers in the end time harvest of souls. If you have never received an impartation to move in Kingdom power to release healing and miracles then there is a prayer at the end of this blog entry for you to receive what God has for you. Then, the challenge is this: will you take a risk for Jesus in the coming year? Too many people are dying without Jesus, we need to share His love and power like we never have. We need to get closer to The Lord through spending time with Him, there is a need to fast and pray, we need to allow Him to refine us, but when all is said and done, we must not hold back anymore through feeble false excuses in reaching out to the lost. People may not feel worthy or anointed, but if they’re born again, then Jesus Christ (The anointed one and His anointing) lives inside them! Do I consider myself worthy to carry an anointing to move in signs, wonders, and miracles? Do you?  Well is anyone? The wonderful mystery revealed through God’s word is that He calls all of us to be His vessels. Let’s use what He’s given us, and believe for the greatest demonstration of His miracle working power. This could be the greatest hour for the church! It is time for her to rise up in maturity, authority, and power and take ground! Here is my prayer for you. Receive all that God has for you by faith:

“Father,  release Your healing anointing and Your fire to those who want to share their faith with love and power to the unsaved right now. Give them a fresh hunger and passion for Jesus Christ. Let them pursue new levels of holiness through the sanctifying work of Holy Spirit. Through intimacy, let them know Your voice, and be obedient to the great commission. Let them know you in a deeper way, and let Your love for them overflow into people’s lives. I pray for boldness, and divine appointments. Let Heaven touch Earth. Send Your angels to gather in the harvest. Empower Your people for Your glory Lord in Jesus name Amen.”

Now use all that God has given you to release within your sphere of influence.  Be persistent even if you don’t see immediate results. God is faithful to confirm His Word. May God bless you in the coming year, and thank you for visiting my blog. Please pray for me and my family, our church and our community, and don’t forget to check back for updates. Firestorm hits Revival Fires Dudley , God TV, and touches the nations

September 24, 2008

1) Street evangelism in Dudley September 18th 2008
2) The Firestorm Gathering Revival Fires Dudley September 18th-23rd 2008
3) Street evangelism in Dudley September 23rd 2008

1) September 18th: It’s been long overdue, but the sun came out, and just before the first session of the Firestorm Gathering I went into town to pray and share Jesus Christ with people. Prophetic and presence evangelism helped me to lead two young men through the prayer of salvation. In other words, God gave me information that I couldn’t have known in the natural, and as I laid my hands on them they felt the tangible presence of God. This softened their hearts to The Lord to receive Him into their lives. I also had the opportunity to tell people about the God TV broadcasts of The Dudley outpouring from our church. I saw a group of young people sitting on a bench in the middle of town, and asked them if any of them wanted prayer. Most of them were very sceptical about God. It was challenging because the young people were asking a lot of difficult questions. Through the prophetic I was able to get their attention. Also I told them that if they gave me the opportunity to pray for them, that at least some of them would tangibly feel God’s presence. Sometimes you have to take a risk, God will reward your step of faith!

Also, one young man had a problem with his hand. He challenged me about whether God is real. My concern was that he wasn’t open enough to receive prayer, and God wouldn’t do anything. How wrong I was! God is sovereign and he will break through when he wants to without anyone’s help or hindrance! His love and power touched the young man and healed his hand. I saw that one young woman was an artist and spoke that out. While I didn’t lead any of that group to Christ, I believe I sowed enough seeds for those hungry to pursue God more, and I hope and pray that they will go to our church or another good church in due time. One thing I will say is that I detected a shift in the atmosphere, and it wasn’t just because of the weather. I believe that in Dudley God is softening the spiritual ground, hearts are opening up, and I believe that we will see more miracles on the streets, including salvations, but more than that there will be significant church growth as the harvest of souls are gathered in. You can believe that for your town as well.

2) The Firestorm Gathering Revival Fires Church Dudley September 18th-23rd 2008

It might not be easy to summarize this tumultuous event, other than to say that The Lord is breathing on His church, the igniting and refining fires are cleansing the body of Christ, signs wonders and miracles are returning, and the rain is now going to fall for mass harvest.

The meetings opened with Kevin Prosch leading a time of powerful prophetic worship. Trevor Baker, senior leader of my church had a word about biopsies, and one viewer emailed in to say that that word of knowledge was for them, a lump just disappeared, and they got miraculously healed! People watched the meetings from many nations including countries in continental Africa, Europe, New Zealand, India, Japan, Kuwait, USA, and many more! On the second night during the worship a powerful drumbeat ushered in a time of warfare type worship, and I felt that something had broken in The Spirit. The glory fell, and there were some glorious miracle healings that night and the following night including freedom from eyesight defects, tinnitus, arthritis, leg pain, and a number of other serious conditions. Keith Miller spoke during these meetings about the fire for harvest, and it really felt like Lakeland had broken out all over again! Keith moved powerfully in the prophetic and in the gift of healing, and as well as inspiring many viewers and delegates, he imparted the fire that we all need to carry the gospel to the lost. It really was a blessing to have Kevin and Keith minister during the first half of the Firestorm Gathering.

Many people received healing during the Gathering. Here is just one of the many testimonies of healing miracles on video, an excerpt from one of the God TV broadcasts:

I also want to say that there were awesome times of worship lead by Sharon Baker, and Ryan Baker-Barnes that helped lead people into God’s glory presence. Both Sharon and Ryan are excellent songwriters, and I highly recommend their anointed worship songs for your church. You can get more details on youtube, The God TV broadcasts and the church website http://www.revivalfires.org.uk You can also purchase songbooks with these worship songs.

On Sunday morning Trevor stated that signs, wonders, and miracles are needed for great harvest in our nation of the UK. People are tired of sterile religion, and they want something real. He also emphasised the importance of character and integrity . In the evening it was Ken Gott’s turn to speak, and the emphasis was on the importance of prayer and no compromise. Ken’s church in Sunderland has a 24-7 prayer facility.

On Monday Mark Stibbe gave an excellent talk from Mark 1 9-15 drawing parallels between what Jesus experienced at the start of his earthly ministry, and the church has in the past 14 years. Verse 11 contains the words of The Father to Jesus as he has got baptised in the Jordan “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mark described this as the revelation in the river which he likened to 1994 when The Father’s blessing hit Toronto and moved around the world. In other words, before anything else, the church needed to know how much God loved them. We can only give away what we ourselves have first received. What is important to remember though is that moving away from performance mentality to having true identity as a child of God takes time, and I believe that all of us can go deeper in that wonderful revelation of sonship.

Secondly, Mark talked about Jesus’s temptation in the wilderness (verses 13-14). In the wilderness our character is defined. We can allow God to refine our hearts through trials. Mark spoke very candidly about this period of his life. This church phase he said was the “devil in the desert.” Finally, the third phase is “the glory in Galilee.” In verse 14 we read that Jesus started his ministry in Galilee, preaching the gospel, and declaring The Kingdom of God. Mark said that with the Lakeland revival having an emphasis on imparting the fire for power evangelism and souls and going around the world it was time for breakout now! If you read my article just before this one, you’ll be able to appreciate that I agree with Mark, we still need the revelation in the river and the refining of our character even as we reach out to the lost.

On the final morning, Ken Gott talked about the need for the whole of the body of Christ to be released into ministering the gospel to the unsaved. He referred to healing on the streets, and even special meetings at people’s houses where people can get healed and saved. One example of this was a brain tumour healed at an elderly couple’s house. If you read this blog and see the video testimonies of healings and miracles you will know that I have a passionate heart for healing on the streets as a very important tool in evangelism. I like the idea of an official council sanctioned regular healing on the streets event in town, taking the full gospel out there for the purpose of showing people how much Jesus loves them through the demonstration of The Spirit’s power. We also need God to use us to touch our unsaved family members and friends, workplace colleagues, and others in our sphere of influence.

The very last session saw intimate worship again lead into a time of miracle healings. Trevor talked about the importance of relationship and friendship to carry the anointing, and said that Lakeland had not finished properly, and the firestorm that has come to Dudley is for Europe and the world, and ultimately we need the rain now for harvest. Trevor referred to Joshua 3 verse 15 with The “Jordan overflowing all its banks during the whole time of harvest.” This scripture has been close to my heart for a long time now, and I believe it is prophetic for the future of my own life, my wife, and our children, but also the body of Christ. In Exodus 33 verse 15 Moses says “If Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” As I go to the streets that is my cry: “Lord, without You, without Your presence I can achieve nothing so fill me with more of You!” In John 15 verse 5 Jesus says ” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” His presence, His glory changes everything. Our own strength, our own resources are useless to change communities and nations for the glory of God. The good news is that God is pouring out His Spirit in these days, and I believe that we will see more miracles and mass harvest as a result!

3) On the final afternoon of the Firestorm Gathering, September 23rd, I went out into Dudley to minister to people. I approached one young man, and The Lord told me he was a musician who has struggled with a number of issues. I spoke into his life. It turned out that he had a problem with his legs as a result of a car accident a number of years ago. Not only that, but he has suffered with M.S. for a while now. Two french men who had been attending The Firestorm were there, and we all prayed for this young man. He felt the healing presence of God upon him, but most of all the tangible presence of the love of God. I invited him to have coffee in our church coffee shop. He had a few errands to do, but called me later, and we met just outside the church. A friend ran into him, and I spoke prophetic destiny into that young man too. The reality is that both of them have been struggling with addiction. I was able to pray for his friend, and as I did so he felt the manifest presence of God. This is such a key. Wouldn’t it be great if we carried so much of God that even just shaking the hand of an unbeliever caused them to experience God’s glory. It can get even better than that. The very shadow of Peter’s presence caused people to be healed. We can believe for those realms to open up for us in these end days if we really press into God!

The first young man and his friend came into the coffee shop and we had a drink there and I prayed for them again. I lead them both through the prayer of salvation. This was an encouragement, because my prayer has been that people won’t just get an encounter outside the church, but inside! Pray that these two young men would come back, their lives will be transformed, and they will both be free of their addictions.

What a time to press deeper into God, and share the gospel with people in all its fullness. I want to give three quick keys to move in miracles:

1) Intimacy with God in the secret place as we allow Him to touch our hearts.

2) Receiving impartation where God’s glory is, and being in relationship with someone who carries the anointing for miracles.

3) Stepping out in faith and praying for many people who are in need of healing. I believe that as we pray for the unsaved especially, God loves to back up His Word with a demonstration of His manifest power.

Miracle healing in Dudley town centre: man removes bandage!

September 17, 2008

1) Report 2) Video Footage

Today I went out into Dudley town centre with a friend from my church Richard who happens to be a doctor. I’m a great believer in the medical profession, but while I have little doubt that Richard is an excellent doctor, I’m sure he will agree with me that no one surpasses The Great Physician, Jesus Christ.
I felt led to approach one young man as The Lord gave me a word of knowledge to share with him. As I did so God gave me more to share, and he was open to receive prayer. As we prayed for him, he tangibly felt The Lord’s manifest presence. I also had words of knowledge for his friend too. They both gave their lives to Jesus as his friend shared that he too felt God’s presence. Please pray that they would become radical disciples of Christ. While I have seen people touched and saved come to our church and get grounded in fellowship through this ministry, I would like to see many more, even though some may well have gone to churches closer to their locality that I don’t know about. God has often lead people to come to Dudley town centre to receive prayer who live miles away from Dudley! Divine appointments really can and do happen when we ask for them!

Richard was also moving in the prophetic as he shared a very detailed word of knowledge with one person and prayed for her sister.

Next I saw a young man with his left hand heavily bandaged talking to an older man I can assume was his father. I asked him if he wanted prayer for his hand. He told me he was in pain, and had broken his thumb. I took his injured hand and Richard and me prayed for him. He testified that his hand was hot as God’s power touched him. The pain left him as he received healing. Not only that, but he removed his bandage to confirm the miracle healing. See this:

It’s Jesus that brings freedom from bondage!

Dudley healing outpouring on the streets as firestorm looms!

September 13, 2008

1) Report 2) Video footage of Miracle healing testimony in Dudley town centre 3) Firestorm information

Today Saturday September 13th I went into Dudley and for once it was dry! I didn’t have much time to be witnessing to people so I asked The Lord to give me a swift divine appointment. Whereas before it might have taken 45 minutes before someone wanted prayer, I just saw a young man with crutches and felt led to approach him, and he was happy for me to pray for him. First of all I called out that he had been injured playing football. The prophetic truth that God gave me opened his heart to receive healing prayer. He felt heat on his leg as Jesus touched him. I asked him to walk without his crutches , and he could! He testified that there was no more pain, and significant improvement. He gave his life to Jesus. God showed me that he is into boxing as well, and the young man confirmed that as I called that out. His friend who held his crutches for him clearly saw that God is real, and he too gave his life to The Lord! I also asked him if he liked science fiction, and he told me he did. See this exciting video testimony of what happened, and let’s give all the glory to God:

At the time of writing, we are only days away from The Firestorm conference here at Revival Fires Dudley with Ken Gott, Mark Stibbe, Keith Miller and Kevin Prosch. Each night from September 18th-23rd 2008 will be televised by God TV. It has prophecied that revival will hit Dudley and the UK, and I believe this firestorm that God is bringing will do the following:

1) Ignite a fresh passion for Jesus Christ

2) Draw the church into pursuing holiness and righteousness more fervently

3) Equip the body of Christ with more of God’s miracle working power for evangelism

4) Accompany revival outside the church, and this will bring a harvest of souls into the church, and most of all to a saving faith in Jesus Christ!

Woman leaves wheelchair as Jesus touches her legs!

August 30, 2008

Today I was blessed to go into a nearby shopping mall with some friends for coffee, but God opened up opportunities for us to talk to people individually, and ultimately share the love and healing and saving power of Jesus. After chatting with a lady in a wheelchair, I mentioned arthritis, and she confirmed that that was the reason she had been in a wheelchair, and said she had been unable to walk for at least 12 months. She was happy to receive healing prayer. As I prayed for her she felt warmth on her legs. God was clearly touching her. I asked her as a step of faith to try walking out of her wheelchair. It has to be remembered that if someone has been confined to a wheelchair for a long time that even when they receive healing, the lack of muscle use can cause problems with walking. The lady testified to improvement in pain levels though, and then as she walked felt tangible improvement. She did say that she was not completely better, but after I prayed for her again, she said she felt better, and as you see this unfold in this video, you can see the joy on her face at the end as God has touched her. She was taking longer strides as well:

Also another friend Dan prayed for a man with partial deafness and there were indications that God had touched him too. With all the noise in the busy shopping area, it might be that he could fully know what The Lord had done as he went home.
Another in our group Emma felt led to share a word of knowledge with a waiter in a coffee bar we all went to later, and he confirmed the word was true, and she led him to Jesus Christ! I was encouraged to have been out with anointed Christians who love Jesus, and are passionate about seeing people’s lives radically transformed by The Lord!

God is moving in the UK! He is sending his healing fire and refining fire to the church to take out into the world. Special meetings are still continuing in churches in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, and Wales, and people are getting saved as well as healed. The Lord spoke to me this week in a time of prayer about what has happened in the church mirroring what I believe will happen soon in our nation, genuine revival. I have been encouraged to see people healed and saved, but when true revival comes, people get more convicted about their sin so that they surrender their whole lives to Jesus, join a good church, and are less likely to backslide. Just as the healing outpourings have seen many Christians healed and God’s refining fire is now hitting the church (see Leviticus 6 verse 13), so we will see a healing revival where people not only receive miracles that touch their physical bodies, the evidence of the reality of Jesus and His love for them, but that they get truly convicted of their sin, and conversions are more durable. Yes, we can and we will have authentic revival with signs, wonders, and miracles and mass harvest of souls. Not only that, we can believe that those God harvests through us will themselves become harvesters.

Also, God clearly spoke to me this week about a verse that we can all embrace. John 20 verse 21 says: “Peace to you! As The Father has sent me, I also send you.” What an awesome promise to boost our faith! We can pray for people with confidence and authority as a result. Jesus sends us with the same Spirit that The Father sent Him to minister with!

Here’s a final thought: isn’t it time the church stopped focusing on some of the failures of our leaders, and start focusing on Jesus Christ, His unquenchable fire for worldwide harvest, and the need for us to carry all that He has given us to the lost? This is not to excuse moral failure, but it is about getting our priorities right. We must also encourage, support, and pray for restoration of those who have struggled. We should not dishonour high profile ministers whom God has used to radically impact millions of lives. We have all sinned but God desires to use us all, and He loves each one of us dearly. God sees beyond our failures. If we are to love outsiders, we must love our brothers and sisters in the church (John 13 verse 35). Can any of us qualify to be used in ministry based upon our own righteousness? No, it’s all about the love of God.

Young woman receives miracle healing from arthritis in Dudley

July 22, 2008

Today I went into the streets with my son Justin and his friend Ben. Justin noticed a young woman with piercings and tatoos and encouraged Ben to go with him and share Christ with her. As they did so, another young woman called Jo came up to them, and they chatted. It emerged that Jo had suffered with arthritis on a long term basis. She told us she was in pain. I told her about the website and she was happy to be filmed as we prayed for her. What happened next was glorious because Jesus touched her, she tangibly felt fire on her back, felt lightheaded as God touched her body, and she got instantly miraculously healed. See this:

While she wasn’t ready to accept Christ at this point, I was aware that Jo was very interested in what we had all shared with her, and most of all we didn’t just have a message in word only, but in power. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 1 verse 5 “For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.” (King James Version)
It’s also important for us to remember that we’re there to facilitate people having an encounter with God and ultimately it is down to the individual what they do with Jesus once they have discovered how real He is, and how much He loves them. What is certain is what I said in yesterday’s blog entry that documents two salvations that occured as a result of a miracle healing. Once someone has received an obvious experience of God whether it be through a word of knowledge, a miracle healing, or His tangible presence, it’s something they are likely to remember for a very long time, perhaps their whole life! We as the body of Christ have the responsibility to show people how real Jesus Christ is through love, compassion, and His miracle working power.
There are enough videos of the kingdom of darkness on the internet with the likes of violence and pornography, isn’t it time the church demonstrated The Kingdom of Heaven outside of the four walls of church buildings? Let’s believe that many people will encounter Jesus as a result, and there will be a great harvest of souls. Now’s the time we all need to surrender ourselves fully to The Lord, and press in to see full scale revival. To God be all the glory.

Woman healed of arthritis, pain goes!

July 16, 2008

Today, God lead me to pray for 3 people. I prayed for a couple. The woman had arthritis in her legs. I prayed and The Lord took the pain away and freedom of movement returned to her. She shares her testimony here:

Also, I prayed for her husband who had a hearing problem in his right ear needing a hearing aid. I prayed he took out his hearing aid to check, and he testified of improvement. This couple were both believers, but passers by were able to see that God was doing something. I also prayed for another Christian with arthritis with my wife Sasha and she testified of improvement too. God also gave both of us prophetic words for her which we shared which encouraged her.
We’ve now had over 80 days of outpouring meetings in our church. Charlie Robinson is speaking this week.
The Lord is healing people, and building His Kingdom sovereignly. God’s Word says in Galatians 6 verse 9 : “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” I want to encourage you if you’ve been witnessing for Jesus and even prayed for people and not seen much fruit yet. Not every person that I have prayed for has got healed. We are just called to lay hands on the sick, and believe for their recovery. It’s God that does it, all He wants is our hearts, our motives to be pure, and our obedience. We need to persist in allowing Him to use us to advance His Kingdom. Let all the attention and focus be on Him for what He does in signs, wonders, and miracles. I hope and believe that there will come a time when it will be normal for thousands even millions of Christians around the world to be moving in His Kingdom power. There’s no reason why that time can’t be now. Praying for the sick and infirm on the streets is not for those “extra special” people, it’s for all of us. If we’re born again, then the same Spirit which raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. Together, we can be nation changers. To God be all the glory.

I want to recommend another blog to readers which documents people taking prophetic and healing evangelism out onto the streets. Go here for more.

Todd Bentley, Lakeland revival, God TV, and The Dudley outpouring

July 12, 2008

Update January 19th 2013: In the light of history it’s easy to be critical of the Lakeland outpouring, and although mistakes were made, it must not be forgotten that for the most part it was an authentic and powerful move of God that saw many awesome testimonies fully documented. I stand by the original article I wrote in 2008 that you can see here in that I believe God’s desire through Lakeland was to empower the church for harvest. Was there an excessive focus on the evangelist on the platform? Yes and as a result I believe that that hindered what God wanted to do through it. History shows that in past revivals The Church squandered golden opportunities it was given to be restored to its Early Church paradigm of moving in love, unity and great power to see a glorious harvest of souls, and go beyond what even the early church walked in. The same mistakes must not be made again. Too many people look to the minister at the front and feel inadequate. This comes down to a misperception of their identity. Higher levels of authority are conditional and come out of intimacy with The Lord, but every believer has an authority that comes purely out of knowing their identity in Christ. There is only one Kingdom worth seeing built and that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In defense of Todd I believe that he understood what God was wanting to do in Lakeland and that is why he would stay late into the night to make sure that everyone who wanted it received an impartation to take back to their city, region, and nation. Many did use what God gave them, but sadly I believe that a big opportunity was missed for reasons mentioned earlier. Paul Keith Davis referred to the Lakeland revival as being the last of an old order. I would agree, but I believe it was meant to be the beginning of something as well. What is encouraging are some prophecies relating to the apostolic for our new season that we can embrace and see His Kingdom come. With that in mind, here is my archived entry from July 2008:

Let’s look at the bigger picture again because it does tie in with posts in this blog that document through video footage miraculous healings on our streets.

Many people are not convinced that this new move of God is genuine. As a result, there has been criticism. However, much of this comes from people who have never been to any of the meetings. I’ve been to Lakeland, and many evening meetings in Dudley, and I can tell you that without a shadow of doubt this is an authentic move of God.

With over 100 nights of revival in Florida, initially breaking out at a conference in Ignited Church, Lakeland, Florida pastored by Stephen Strader with evangelist Todd Bentley and Fresh Fire Ministries, and over 75 nights in my church Revival Fires Dudley pastored by Trevor Baker, people from all over the world are coming to experience God’s glory presence, receive miracle healings, and receive impartation. The question people are asking is what is God doing? What is His sovereign purpose for pouring out His Spirit so powerfully?

One of the most notable features of this move is that people are getting more intimate with God through worship, especially as they experience His manifest presence, and also people are getting physically healed. There are many testimonies of this that you can find on the internet through going to http://www.revivalfires.org.uk http://www.ignitedchurch.com http://www.freshfire.ca and http://www.god.tv Miracles bring glory to God. They point to Jesus, and if people look to the minister who has prayed for people and not The Lord Jesus Christ then they are missing the point. Miracles of physical healing demonstrate the veracity of Jesus Christ, and tell us that God loves people, and sickness is not His will for our lives. They also lead people to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I’ve found that when I’ve been out ministering in the streets in Dudley and elsewhere that the demonstration of The Spirit’s power is far more effective that any “enticing words of man’s wisdom”. ( 1 Corinthians 2 4-5) , and you can see from the testimonies and video footage in this blog that that bears true. When I don’t minister in my own strength and God shows up and does what He wants to do, the results are so much better! We need The Word and The Spirit together, not sterile religion devoid of a genuine encounter with a loving and all powerful God.

I agree with what I’ve heard from Todd Bentley, my pastor Trevor Baker, John Arnott, Mark Stibbe, Jerame Nelson, Charlie Robinson, John Laframboise, Patricia King, Bob Jones, Paul Keith Davis, Keith Miller, and many other notable speakers that this revival, this outpouring is for the harvesting of souls. It is to empower the church for harvest. Yes we need God’s love and compassion. However, we need something that will show people that Jesus Christ is God, and the only way to Heaven. We have an inheritance as the body of Christ that we have neglected for generations. We have believed the lie that miracles were just for the early church, or at best the special apostles, but the bible never said that. Why is it that people who start stepping out in obedience to God to pray for people with signs, wonders, and miracles following are then persecuted by the church? People are accused of trying to build their own thing, or not operating in God’s power. People often get jealous, or if they can’t understand something or believe in it, will attack it.

It needs to be emphasised that this move of God is for all the body of Christ. A powerless church is not going to be effective. With so much pornography, violence, and degradation available on the internet, isn’t it time that we as the body of Christ showed people The Kingdom of Heaven invading earth? I’d like to see the internet full of videos of ordinary people being used by God doing great exploits in His name (Daniel 11 : 32 “And the people who know their God will be strong, and do mighty exploits.”) Do we want to see genuine revival in our community? Then let’s seek God and pray fervently, but also take the fire out there with much love and compassion onto the streets, our communities, in our workplace, amongst our family, friends, and neighbours. Bobby Conner says “talk is cheap. Evidence persuades.” Some years ago God lead me to start a website jesusevidence.org to show people that Jesus is real. I started off by collecting historical documentation about Jesus. It went a long way to proving His existence in history. I realised that I needed to demonstrate His divinity on the website too though. God showed me that evidence of His supernatural works today would be very compelling. I started researching into other phenomena such as the bible codes, the Turin Shroud, near death experiences, and signs, wonders, and miracles. This lead me on a fascinating journey of exploration. I would have found it difficult to imagine that I’d be praying for people and seeing Jesus miraculously heal them in front of my eyes and even on camera for me to put on the website to glorify His name.
The simple truth is that we live in a sceptical world that are tired of religion. People want a tangible encounter with God! When people get miraculously healed, or receive a word of knowledge that could have only come from God, or just experience His manifest presence then it often softens their hearts, and brings conviction to save them. That’s why we owe it to the lost to introduce them to the reality of who God is, and The Kingdom of Heaven. Testimonies glorify Jesus Christ, stir people’s faith, and show them He is real.

I would encourage people to continue to tune into God TV, and watch the Florida outpouring meetings. You can also view meetings at Revival Fires Church Dudley on the internet live.
Let’s all be encouraged to take a risk for Jesus. He died for you and me. Let’s give Him everything we have, and remember how valuable every person is to Him. Let’s also love and encourage each other to step into all that God has for each one of us. The Lord is building His Kingdom, and to Him alone be all the glory, the honour, and the praise!
