Revivals and Outpourings : Toronto , Pensecola , Lakeland , Dudley , what now? Firestorm for the UK , and the world!

September 19, 2008

1) Revivals and outpourings : what is to come? 2) See video of one recent miracle healing taking place in Dudley town centre.

1) There is a firestorm coming to the UK, and there is revival. Smith Wigglesworth prophecied in 1947 that when The Word and The Spirit operate together in the church there will be revival. This marriage between Word and Spirit is happening increasingly now. Jean Darnall prophecied in 1967 about fires burning in different parts of the UK. We have been seeing this already in 2008, but it is increasing, and I believe will continue to do so. Ultimately though, God will bring global revival. The prophecy attributed to Smith Wigglesworth concludes: “The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the United Kingdom to mainland Europe, and from there, will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.”

I believe that The Lord has impressed upon me that all that He has poured out at Toronto, Pensecola and Lakeland are for now, and not only that but there is new wine! It is too easy to compartmentalise what God does, and leave other moves of The Spirit behind as being “irrelevant to today” but let me throw something out for due consideration. Hosea 6 verse 3 says “He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain and the former rain to the earth.” While it is right to pray for latter rain, we shouldn’t neglect the former rain as well. Of course God emphasises different aspects of who He is and what He wants to do in each move of His Spirit, but why do we neglect important things with each fresh wave? Was there a point that the church reached full maturity in the revelation of The Father’s love? Was there a moment that the church didn’t need any more refining fire to bring holiness and purity? I believe that we constantly need to draw on all aspects of the outpouring of God’s Spirit so we deepen our relationship with The Lord, receive refining so we walk with high integrity, while taking out the prophetic healing anointing fire and glory for souls because as every minute passes, sadly many still die without Jesus Christ but it doesn’t have to be like that. We simply need more of Him, and less of us! We need hearts surrendered wholly to Him and His sovereign purposes.

Romans 8 verse 19 says “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” God is maturing the church so that what the world will see will be a body of believers filled with His His love, His righteousness, His purity, and His miracle working presence and power. It is no longer just about the big names, the high profile ministers, but God is calling ALL Christians to live set aside lives to His glory, filled with His love for people, and operate in the prophetic, and signs wonders and miracles! Just imagine an army of believers accessing the revelatory realms of Heaven, hearing God’s voice clearly, having angelic visitations and third Heaven experiences, and ministering under an open Heaven. In uncertain economic times we need to contend too for the wealth transfer to the body of Christ too. (Proverbs 13 verse 22).

I believe that this fulness will usher in the culmination of this dispensation, the end time revival that will not only bring a harvest of souls into The Kingdom, but an unspotted intimate bride ready to take her place at the marriage supper of The Lamb. This really is an exciting time to be alive as a believer if we choose run with what He has given us to use for His glory! You may have seen the recent broadcasts of The Firestorm gathering on God TV, part of The Dudley outpouring at my church Revival Fires, lead by Trevor and Sharon Baker. As God’s glory has touched meetings with many miracles of healing such as eyesight, tinnitus, arthritis and serious conditions through the power of God, I love the fact that this move of The Spirit has an emphasis on The Father’s love, intimate worship, the lordship of Jesus Christ, the presence and power of The Holy Spirit, the refiner’s fire for holiness, the glory of God, and the transferable healing anointing to share the gospel with the lost, the fulness of God that we all need.

2) I’ve just edited the video of one of the miracle healings that took place recently on the streets here in Dudley caught live from start to finish! If you haven’t seen the initial version, this shows how God can break in to our world with His love, compassion, and awesome power, and use regular people like you and me to accomplish his purposes. He wants to build a secure foundation in our hearts though, so we are not just clanging cymbals operating powerfully in the gifts of The Spirit but buckling when the vicissitudes of life come. I believe we can look confidently toward the future and believe that God will pour His greater glory presence upon us. Also, the body of Christ will rise up and take her place dispelling darkness, loving people, and demonstrating The Spirit’s power for evangelism. We will see a worldwide harvest of souls as The Lord convicts non-believers to give their lives fully to Jesus Christ. As they discover the reality of who He is this will happen, and He’s looking to you and me to make His name and His glory known!

This will be more than a sovereign visitation in churches, but entire towns, cities, regions and even nations will be transformed by the glory of God. Does that seem too good to be true? No, but worship and intercessory prayer will continue to be essential keys. We need to remember that we “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6 : 12) In this move of The Spirit I believe that some people will get convicted of sin as they did in the Welsh revival when people flocked to churches without an invitation, but we ourselves must also take out the full gospel so that people see that Jesus Christ is real! We’ve been doing this recently in Dudley, giving many people an opportunity to encounter the living God, and His love for them. For example, we met one young woman who we had never met before who told us she was not a believer, and not from a Christian background. See this, and let’s get excited that nothing is impossible for God as you see this young woman healed of long term arthritis in Dudley town centre through the love and power of Jesus Christ:

Raised from the dead! Testimony from The Dudley Outpouring

September 7, 2008

In this post you can view an awesome video of a man sharing how God used him to raise someone from the dead!

Last night September 6th I attended the Dudley outpouring and God visited us in an awesome way again. One of the most remarkable events occured when one man who has regularly attended the outpouring shared something amazing that happened within the last two weeks. God used him to raise someone from the dead here in the UK! See this:

My pastor Trevor Baker also announced that the upcoming Firestorm conference here at Revival Fires Church Dudley with Kevin Prosch, Keith Miller, Mark Stibbe and Ken Gott scheduled for September 18th-23rd has interested GOD TV, and currently they are planning to televise it. On our church website he says “God TV have also asked to carry the FireStorm gathering by broadcasting it LIVE each day. This will have an impact beyond anything we have known for the Outpouring in the UK.” For more information about the conference see revivalfires.org.uk God is moving powerfully in the UK, and revival has been prophecied to hit our nation this year!

You may recall that in an earlier post I’d said that I would discuss my wife Sasha’s experiences of being raised from clinical death having visited Heaven and Hell a few years ago. Although you can expect more on this subject, there’s a link to visit that offers an initial summary of her experiences in her own words here

Todd Bentley, Lakeland revival, God TV, and The Dudley outpouring

July 12, 2008

Update January 19th 2013: In the light of history it’s easy to be critical of the Lakeland outpouring, and although mistakes were made, it must not be forgotten that for the most part it was an authentic and powerful move of God that saw many awesome testimonies fully documented. I stand by the original article I wrote in 2008 that you can see here in that I believe God’s desire through Lakeland was to empower the church for harvest. Was there an excessive focus on the evangelist on the platform? Yes and as a result I believe that that hindered what God wanted to do through it. History shows that in past revivals The Church squandered golden opportunities it was given to be restored to its Early Church paradigm of moving in love, unity and great power to see a glorious harvest of souls, and go beyond what even the early church walked in. The same mistakes must not be made again. Too many people look to the minister at the front and feel inadequate. This comes down to a misperception of their identity. Higher levels of authority are conditional and come out of intimacy with The Lord, but every believer has an authority that comes purely out of knowing their identity in Christ. There is only one Kingdom worth seeing built and that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In defense of Todd I believe that he understood what God was wanting to do in Lakeland and that is why he would stay late into the night to make sure that everyone who wanted it received an impartation to take back to their city, region, and nation. Many did use what God gave them, but sadly I believe that a big opportunity was missed for reasons mentioned earlier. Paul Keith Davis referred to the Lakeland revival as being the last of an old order. I would agree, but I believe it was meant to be the beginning of something as well. What is encouraging are some prophecies relating to the apostolic for our new season that we can embrace and see His Kingdom come. With that in mind, here is my archived entry from July 2008:

2008/07/12
Let’s look at the bigger picture again because it does tie in with posts in this blog that document through video footage miraculous healings on our streets.

Many people are not convinced that this new move of God is genuine. As a result, there has been criticism. However, much of this comes from people who have never been to any of the meetings. I’ve been to Lakeland, and many evening meetings in Dudley, and I can tell you that without a shadow of doubt this is an authentic move of God.

With over 100 nights of revival in Florida, initially breaking out at a conference in Ignited Church, Lakeland, Florida pastored by Stephen Strader with evangelist Todd Bentley and Fresh Fire Ministries, and over 75 nights in my church Revival Fires Dudley pastored by Trevor Baker, people from all over the world are coming to experience God’s glory presence, receive miracle healings, and receive impartation. The question people are asking is what is God doing? What is His sovereign purpose for pouring out His Spirit so powerfully?

One of the most notable features of this move is that people are getting more intimate with God through worship, especially as they experience His manifest presence, and also people are getting physically healed. There are many testimonies of this that you can find on the internet through going to http://www.revivalfires.org.uk http://www.ignitedchurch.com http://www.freshfire.ca and http://www.god.tv Miracles bring glory to God. They point to Jesus, and if people look to the minister who has prayed for people and not The Lord Jesus Christ then they are missing the point. Miracles of physical healing demonstrate the veracity of Jesus Christ, and tell us that God loves people, and sickness is not His will for our lives. They also lead people to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I’ve found that when I’ve been out ministering in the streets in Dudley and elsewhere that the demonstration of The Spirit’s power is far more effective that any “enticing words of man’s wisdom”. ( 1 Corinthians 2 4-5) , and you can see from the testimonies and video footage in this blog that that bears true. When I don’t minister in my own strength and God shows up and does what He wants to do, the results are so much better! We need The Word and The Spirit together, not sterile religion devoid of a genuine encounter with a loving and all powerful God.

I agree with what I’ve heard from Todd Bentley, my pastor Trevor Baker, John Arnott, Mark Stibbe, Jerame Nelson, Charlie Robinson, John Laframboise, Patricia King, Bob Jones, Paul Keith Davis, Keith Miller, and many other notable speakers that this revival, this outpouring is for the harvesting of souls. It is to empower the church for harvest. Yes we need God’s love and compassion. However, we need something that will show people that Jesus Christ is God, and the only way to Heaven. We have an inheritance as the body of Christ that we have neglected for generations. We have believed the lie that miracles were just for the early church, or at best the special apostles, but the bible never said that. Why is it that people who start stepping out in obedience to God to pray for people with signs, wonders, and miracles following are then persecuted by the church? People are accused of trying to build their own thing, or not operating in God’s power. People often get jealous, or if they can’t understand something or believe in it, will attack it.

It needs to be emphasised that this move of God is for all the body of Christ. A powerless church is not going to be effective. With so much pornography, violence, and degradation available on the internet, isn’t it time that we as the body of Christ showed people The Kingdom of Heaven invading earth? I’d like to see the internet full of videos of ordinary people being used by God doing great exploits in His name (Daniel 11 : 32 “And the people who know their God will be strong, and do mighty exploits.”) Do we want to see genuine revival in our community? Then let’s seek God and pray fervently, but also take the fire out there with much love and compassion onto the streets, our communities, in our workplace, amongst our family, friends, and neighbours. Bobby Conner says “talk is cheap. Evidence persuades.” Some years ago God lead me to start a website jesusevidence.org to show people that Jesus is real. I started off by collecting historical documentation about Jesus. It went a long way to proving His existence in history. I realised that I needed to demonstrate His divinity on the website too though. God showed me that evidence of His supernatural works today would be very compelling. I started researching into other phenomena such as the bible codes, the Turin Shroud, near death experiences, and signs, wonders, and miracles. This lead me on a fascinating journey of exploration. I would have found it difficult to imagine that I’d be praying for people and seeing Jesus miraculously heal them in front of my eyes and even on camera for me to put on the website to glorify His name.
The simple truth is that we live in a sceptical world that are tired of religion. People want a tangible encounter with God! When people get miraculously healed, or receive a word of knowledge that could have only come from God, or just experience His manifest presence then it often softens their hearts, and brings conviction to save them. That’s why we owe it to the lost to introduce them to the reality of who God is, and The Kingdom of Heaven. Testimonies glorify Jesus Christ, stir people’s faith, and show them He is real.

I would encourage people to continue to tune into God TV, and watch the Florida outpouring meetings. You can also view meetings at Revival Fires Church Dudley on the internet live.
Let’s all be encouraged to take a risk for Jesus. He died for you and me. Let’s give Him everything we have, and remember how valuable every person is to Him. Let’s also love and encourage each other to step into all that God has for each one of us. The Lord is building His Kingdom, and to Him alone be all the glory, the honour, and the praise!

Why I’m doing this blog documenting miracles

July 4, 2008

I feel it is timely to let people know why I started doing this blog, and posting video footage (testimonies are recorded only with the permission of people ministered to). The short answer is that I believe that God led me to do this to glorify Him. I want to say very firmly that only God alone can do miracles. He may use us, not that He has to, but He is doing it, and to Him be all the glory. Signs, wonders, and miracles are there to point to Jesus. We need to seek His face far more than what comes from His hand. Let’s not get distracted by anointed individuals, even awesome men of God who have radically impacted my life like Benny Hinn, Todd Bentley, and my pastor Trevor Baker. Let God alone get all the glory for healing His church, and now healing and saving the lost outside. It is all the work of The Holy Spirit.
Should we share what God does? Provided it brings Him glory, and He is the focus. Psalm 105 says in verse 2 “Make known His deeds among the peoples!” Verse 3 says “Talk of all his wondrous works.” People’s testimonies verify that Jesus has touched them. I can tell you that The Lord opened someone’s ear to hear, but it is far more powerful to the sceptic when the person themself actually testifies to it. Testimonies provide compelling evidence in a court of law.
The outpouring of God’s Spirit that has happened in Lakeland, Florida and is now going around the world is ultimately for harvest. John Arnott, Todd Bentley, and Trevor Baker my pastor have all said as much. Taking signs, wonders, and miracles to the streets, to our communities, families, friends and spheres of influence as a demonstration of who Jesus is (1 Corinthians 2 verses 4-5) so the world sees that Jesus is real is what is needed for this hour.
We need The Word and The Spirit together. What we don’t need is more religion. That hasn’t transformed anyone positively. I also want to reiterate that the Lord Jesus Christ is the one doing the miracles, and to Him be all the glory. This blog is about Jesus, not really about me or anyone else ultimately. You see God is calling ALL believers to pray for the sick with love, compassion, and power, sharing His goodness, and demonstrating the full gospel, not just the “big name” preachers. Through these testimonies God wants to encourage you to take a step of faith and pray for someone. Why? Because people are dying and going to Hell because no one showed them that Jesus is real. For those who have not believed in Jesus, God wants to show you that He’s real. Perhaps you’ve never set foot into a church or watched Christian television, and you never would. You may have had a negative experience of religion and church. Maybe God led you to view this blog to show you that Jesus is real, He died for you on the cross so your sins could be forgiven and you could get right with God, and most of all He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you for all eternity. That is my God!
I know that there is a price to pay for doing this ministry. Persecution can come not just from outside the church, but even from Christians as well. God forewarned me about this. However, if I wasn’t obedient to God in what He has called me to do, then I would be wasting all that He has given me to use for His glory. My heart is to love Him, serve Him obediently, and see many souls born again.
Our highest calling, our greatest privilege, our destiny, is to enjoy God’s love, to love God, and especially to glorify Him. When we get close to Him, we soon discover that His heart beats for the lost. Let’s not get apologetic about Jesus, let’s stand up and testify of how wonderful He is as we share His love and power with people. Let’s share all that He has done, deflecting any attention we might get onto Him alone. We as Christians are just His ministers, as awesome a privilege as that is let’s never forget that He is doing the supernatural stuff!
Remember that His heart beats for you. He created you in love. He died for you because He loves you. He loves spending time with you. He not only loves you, but He likes you, and wants to be a friend to you. His love, His glory is the end of all our searching. He is the very reason we even exist. Let’s love Him, and love and encourage each other secure in the knowledge that our true identity and worth is in knowing that He loves us, and that we belong to Him.

Dudley Outpouring: Isaiah 61 on Day 61 , miracle in town centre.

June 26, 2008

Today I went into Dudley town centre with my good friend from India Anupam. We prayed, and trusted that God would demonstrate who He is. After a while, we met a man who suffered partial deafness, with limited hearing in his left ear. See what happened from the start : Today was Day 61 of the Dudley Outpouring in Revival Fires Church. We sang “The Spirit of The Sovereign Lord” by Andy Park in the worship time, and Jerame Nelson preached about Isaiah 61. We saw some glorious miracles in the meeting earlier tonight too. We are getting ready for a very powerful service Saturday 28th June at The ARC, Revival Fires where Trevor will impart the greater glory anointing. Subsequent daily evening meetings should be very powerful too, as God’s glory visits us. See revivalfires.org.uk and come and get some in Dudley!

Dudley healing testimony through street ministry

June 20, 2008

I ministered in the streets very briefly today, and prayed for a couple of people who needed physical healing. One woman, a Christian who had suffered from a number of conditions felt definite improvement today.

I attended the evening meeting Day 54 of The Dudley Outpouring at Revival Fires Church and ministered in the chatroom. Tonight there were many miracle healings. One lady testified that her knee was healed, black spots (“floaters”) impairing her eye were fading so she could see better! Another lady testified of feeling fire and lumps on her leg were getting smaller, IBS was healed, and varicose veins were disappearing! One person got born again, and two rededicated their life to Christ on the internet, and there were commitments in the meeting too! If you haven’t come down to one of our daily evening meetings yet to receive a healing anointing impartation, or need a miracle in your body, then don’t delay, come get some in Dudley! See revivalfires.org.uk for more details, including some powerful miracle testimonies.

Dudley miracle outpouring hits Hindu family in Dudley town centre!

June 11, 2008

Yesterday, June 10th I went out onto the streets of Dudley with my wife Sasha and one of the students on the school of the supernatural here in Revival Fires Church Dudley our home church. We saw a small group of people we assumed to be a family the youngest of which was a girl who was barely able to walk, and using a crutch. I asked her and her mother if she would like prayer. They said that although they were of the Hindu faith they were open to us praying. As we prayed, she felt the heat and tingling of God’s power touch her ankle. The pain left her, and she was able to freely walk, even run! As a result of the demonstration of The Spirit’s power, she gave her life to Jesus! See this wonderful testimony:

To God be all the glory for another instant miracle healing on the streets of Dudley. Not only that but we prayed for one of their friends, a Hindu man and God took away his arthritic pain, and we are in faith that he is healed of arthritis. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The girl’s sister also received physical healing as my wife prayed for her for a personal female condition. A group of muslim young men saw that these people had clearly been miraculously touched by God, and it opened their hearts to the reality of Jesus Christ. We had limited time, but I was able to have a meaningful conversation with one of them.
June 10th was Day 45 of the Dudley outpouring, and the fires of revival that touched Lakeland Florida in early April are here in Dudley, and the UK is surely on the brink of stepping into a glorious revival!

Dudley miracles in marketplace with young people

June 7, 2008

Today June 7th was very memorable, and to God be all the glory for what I share! I went out onto the streets of Dudley well supported by a long standing friend from Cheltenham Jesse. I prayed for an elderly man for his hearing. He had had hearing problems since activity in World War 2. God healed his ears and he testified to the improved hearing. A group of people started to gather as this miracle was occuring, mainly young men. After I led the elderly man to Christ, Jesse led me to inside the Dudley marketplace stalls, and I met one of the young men who had seen the miracle. He wanted to be free of an addiction, and also had suffered a long term painful ankle condition. I felt the Lord wanted me to minister healing to his ankle first. I did so as Jesse prayed with me, he felt heat on his ankle, then the clicking and pain left him! Not only that but people around the stalls witnessed this, including his friend who captured the whole thing on the camcorder of his mobile phone!
After his ankle was healed he gave his life to Jesus, and encouraged his friend to get some prayer. I prayed and prophecied over this other young man, and he felt God’s tangible presence. As a result he also gave his life to The Lord. Other friends and people looked on as God was moving. Another of his friends looked on and admitted about the reality of Jesus being real. He said “now I have the proof.” People are tired of religion, but hungry for the supernatural and will often look in the wrong places. They want to see evidence Jesus is real. Here the first young man testifies of the miracle healing of his ankle:

Later today I met the young man who I had prayed for last week and was miraculously healed of his leg injury. He was running! He shared with me that he had had no problems with his leg since I had prayed. Praise God for His goodness!
The Dudley outpouring continues in my church Revival Fires with awesome miracle healings. It is now in its 42nd consecutive day of meetings! Praise God that Jesus is visiting the streets and marketplace of Dudley as well! What a privilege to have a ringside seat to what He is doing at the moment. The signs wonders and miracles point to Him, it is all about Him, His Lordship, His glory, His Kingdom, and His desire to have an intimate relationship with each one of us. If you don’t know Jesus as Lord and Saviour give Him your life now, and if you do, take a risk for Him and share His love and power with those who don’t know Him.

Dudley street evangelism with miracles May 31st 2008

May 31, 2008

Today was another day to rejoice in the healing and saving power of Jesus Christ on the streets of Dudley, and in particular to rejoice in our glorious and wonderful Lord! I prayed for a man who had suffered spondilitis since 1997. He felt God’s power touch him, and was able to do something he couldn’t before I prayed. He accepted Jesus Christ as a result of the demonstration of the Spirit’s power. See his testimony: I subsequently prayed for a lady who had been unable to bend her foot properly for over five years. I asked her to try before I prayed for her so I could so what change if any would take place after I prayed. The transformation was miraculous! She accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Here she shares her testimony of what The Lord did for her: ( correction to date of these miracles: May 31st 2008 )
I subsequently prayed for a man with partial deafness and he testified to improvement in his hearing. Praise God!

Divine appointments, healing, salvations

May 30, 2008

Yesterday I met an elderly man with heart and lung problems. As I prayed for him, he told me heat touched him, God’s presence. He wasn’t ready to accept Jesus Christ though. However the next day as I was spending time in the church coffee shop ministering to a young man whom I had led to Christ a week ago today, the same elderly man walked in to the coffee shop which I was surprised about with a lady who is the manager of the sheltered accommodation he lives in. She asked me about coming to pray for other residents who need healing having heard about what had happened to the elderly man from his own words. The man testified that his breathing had tangibly improved since I had prayed for him. As he felt the power of God again when I prayed for him, he accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. I then led the sheltered home manager to Christ as well. Praise God for this open door, and for them coming into our church coffee shop where they could experience the wonderful presence of God that abides in our church.
