Revivals and Outpourings : Toronto , Pensecola , Lakeland , Dudley , what now? Firestorm for the UK , and the world!

September 19, 2008

1) Revivals and outpourings : what is to come? 2) See video of one recent miracle healing taking place in Dudley town centre.

1) There is a firestorm coming to the UK, and there is revival. Smith Wigglesworth prophecied in 1947 that when The Word and The Spirit operate together in the church there will be revival. This marriage between Word and Spirit is happening increasingly now. Jean Darnall prophecied in 1967 about fires burning in different parts of the UK. We have been seeing this already in 2008, but it is increasing, and I believe will continue to do so. Ultimately though, God will bring global revival. The prophecy attributed to Smith Wigglesworth concludes: “The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the United Kingdom to mainland Europe, and from there, will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.”

I believe that The Lord has impressed upon me that all that He has poured out at Toronto, Pensecola and Lakeland are for now, and not only that but there is new wine! It is too easy to compartmentalise what God does, and leave other moves of The Spirit behind as being “irrelevant to today” but let me throw something out for due consideration. Hosea 6 verse 3 says “He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain and the former rain to the earth.” While it is right to pray for latter rain, we shouldn’t neglect the former rain as well. Of course God emphasises different aspects of who He is and what He wants to do in each move of His Spirit, but why do we neglect important things with each fresh wave? Was there a point that the church reached full maturity in the revelation of The Father’s love? Was there a moment that the church didn’t need any more refining fire to bring holiness and purity? I believe that we constantly need to draw on all aspects of the outpouring of God’s Spirit so we deepen our relationship with The Lord, receive refining so we walk with high integrity, while taking out the prophetic healing anointing fire and glory for souls because as every minute passes, sadly many still die without Jesus Christ but it doesn’t have to be like that. We simply need more of Him, and less of us! We need hearts surrendered wholly to Him and His sovereign purposes.

Romans 8 verse 19 says “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” God is maturing the church so that what the world will see will be a body of believers filled with His His love, His righteousness, His purity, and His miracle working presence and power. It is no longer just about the big names, the high profile ministers, but God is calling ALL Christians to live set aside lives to His glory, filled with His love for people, and operate in the prophetic, and signs wonders and miracles! Just imagine an army of believers accessing the revelatory realms of Heaven, hearing God’s voice clearly, having angelic visitations and third Heaven experiences, and ministering under an open Heaven. In uncertain economic times we need to contend too for the wealth transfer to the body of Christ too. (Proverbs 13 verse 22).

I believe that this fulness will usher in the culmination of this dispensation, the end time revival that will not only bring a harvest of souls into The Kingdom, but an unspotted intimate bride ready to take her place at the marriage supper of The Lamb. This really is an exciting time to be alive as a believer if we choose run with what He has given us to use for His glory! You may have seen the recent broadcasts of The Firestorm gathering on God TV, part of The Dudley outpouring at my church Revival Fires, lead by Trevor and Sharon Baker. As God’s glory has touched meetings with many miracles of healing such as eyesight, tinnitus, arthritis and serious conditions through the power of God, I love the fact that this move of The Spirit has an emphasis on The Father’s love, intimate worship, the lordship of Jesus Christ, the presence and power of The Holy Spirit, the refiner’s fire for holiness, the glory of God, and the transferable healing anointing to share the gospel with the lost, the fulness of God that we all need.

2) I’ve just edited the video of one of the miracle healings that took place recently on the streets here in Dudley caught live from start to finish! If you haven’t seen the initial version, this shows how God can break in to our world with His love, compassion, and awesome power, and use regular people like you and me to accomplish his purposes. He wants to build a secure foundation in our hearts though, so we are not just clanging cymbals operating powerfully in the gifts of The Spirit but buckling when the vicissitudes of life come. I believe we can look confidently toward the future and believe that God will pour His greater glory presence upon us. Also, the body of Christ will rise up and take her place dispelling darkness, loving people, and demonstrating The Spirit’s power for evangelism. We will see a worldwide harvest of souls as The Lord convicts non-believers to give their lives fully to Jesus Christ. As they discover the reality of who He is this will happen, and He’s looking to you and me to make His name and His glory known!

This will be more than a sovereign visitation in churches, but entire towns, cities, regions and even nations will be transformed by the glory of God. Does that seem too good to be true? No, but worship and intercessory prayer will continue to be essential keys. We need to remember that we “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6 : 12) In this move of The Spirit I believe that some people will get convicted of sin as they did in the Welsh revival when people flocked to churches without an invitation, but we ourselves must also take out the full gospel so that people see that Jesus Christ is real! We’ve been doing this recently in Dudley, giving many people an opportunity to encounter the living God, and His love for them. For example, we met one young woman who we had never met before who told us she was not a believer, and not from a Christian background. See this, and let’s get excited that nothing is impossible for God as you see this young woman healed of long term arthritis in Dudley town centre through the love and power of Jesus Christ:

Dudley healing outpouring on the streets as firestorm looms!

September 13, 2008

1) Report 2) Video footage of Miracle healing testimony in Dudley town centre 3) Firestorm information

Today Saturday September 13th I went into Dudley and for once it was dry! I didn’t have much time to be witnessing to people so I asked The Lord to give me a swift divine appointment. Whereas before it might have taken 45 minutes before someone wanted prayer, I just saw a young man with crutches and felt led to approach him, and he was happy for me to pray for him. First of all I called out that he had been injured playing football. The prophetic truth that God gave me opened his heart to receive healing prayer. He felt heat on his leg as Jesus touched him. I asked him to walk without his crutches , and he could! He testified that there was no more pain, and significant improvement. He gave his life to Jesus. God showed me that he is into boxing as well, and the young man confirmed that as I called that out. His friend who held his crutches for him clearly saw that God is real, and he too gave his life to The Lord! I also asked him if he liked science fiction, and he told me he did. See this exciting video testimony of what happened, and let’s give all the glory to God:

At the time of writing, we are only days away from The Firestorm conference here at Revival Fires Dudley with Ken Gott, Mark Stibbe, Keith Miller and Kevin Prosch. Each night from September 18th-23rd 2008 will be televised by God TV. It has prophecied that revival will hit Dudley and the UK, and I believe this firestorm that God is bringing will do the following:

1) Ignite a fresh passion for Jesus Christ

2) Draw the church into pursuing holiness and righteousness more fervently

3) Equip the body of Christ with more of God’s miracle working power for evangelism

4) Accompany revival outside the church, and this will bring a harvest of souls into the church, and most of all to a saving faith in Jesus Christ!

Atheist turns to Christ within minutes in prophetic evangelism

September 4, 2008

Last Sunday I had an unexpected phone call from a church member telling me that there was someone who had been attending the outpouring meetings here in Dudley who wanted to go out on the streets to share the gospel with us. I hadn’t planned to go out that day, but The Lord led me to go into town, even though the weather was atrocious, and there were not likely to be many people about! I met Neil, a pastor from Oxfordshire, and we started to talk to people at the bus shelter as it was pelting down with rain outside. After some meaningful contacts we found a young man, and immediately The Lord downloaded some words of knowledge for me to share with him which related to his interests and abilities, what he was currently doing, and something significant in his past. He told us he was an atheist. It was going to take more than a theological discussion to interest him in Christ. I shared the words of knowledge with him, and their accuracy surprised him. One of them was that The Lord had given me “sports” and it turned out he was involved with physical education. He was open for us to pray for him. As we did so, Neil prayed something about the Father’s love. This really touched his spirit, and he testified to tangibly experiencing God’s presence. He made a decision to give his life to Jesus Christ. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith in sharing prophetic words with people. You might be thinking what if I get it wrong? Well at least you took a risk. That isn’t to say that we should excessively fish for prophetic words or try to drum them up in our own strength because if we do, then they will not have been from God, and most likely inaccurate. Sometimes just telling someone that Jesus loves them is the greatest prophetic word anyone can give, but if we are open to The Spirit, then we will increasingly learn to hear the voice of God.

As we were walking to the shop having thought that we might have finished, a noticed a young woman with a crutch. I asked her if she wanted prayer. It turned out she was a Christian. As we prayed she felt heat on her leg, and noticeable improvement as I asked her to do something she couldn’t have done before without pain.

Miracle healing of Jesus , boy walks free of crutches and pain after trampolining accident!

August 23, 2008

Today the weather was better, and I went out on a twofold mission into town. 1) to share the full gospel of Jesus with a demonstration of The Spirit’s power and 2) to come back with some sweets for my children.

What really helped was that I told my kids that if I reached someone quickly and God intervened, that I would be back home quicker. This encouraged my children to pray for my swift return! I didn’t need long before The Lord gave me a divine appointment. Sometimes it can take a while before I meet someone open to prayer, but today God made it effortless.

I met a woman with her two sons, one of whom was walking slowly with the use of crutches. I approached them and asked them what the matter with him was. He had had a trampoling accident that had broken at least one bone in his foot causing him to need an X-ray which confirmed the break, and qualified him for some crutches. He confirmed he was in pain. His mother and he himself were happy for me to pray for him. As I did so, he felt heat on the affected area in his foot, and the pain left him. Glory to Jesus! Not only that, but I explained the gospel to him after he walked without the use of his crutches, and he gave his life to Jesus Christ. I believe that it will be a day he won’t forget. Please pray for this boy and his family, and see this exciting video testimony:

Miracles point to the veracity of Jesus, they give glory to Him, and they show how much He loves us all. I want to see the body of Christ run with the baton of healing anointing and revival fire that God has graciously given to us. Yes we can all move in miracles if we know Jesus providing we are prepared to step out in faith and take a risk.

I also want to emphasise again that The Dudley outpouring and Lakeland revival are far from over, but the end time world revival that The Lord wants to bring is bigger than any one person and one place. God is taking His church through a season of refining, drawing us to live uncompromising lives rooted and grounded in the purity of His Word. He wants to draw us into deeper relationship with Him, and remove anything that would be an obstacle for Him to work through us fully. As we pursue intimacy with Him, so we must pursue holiness and righteousness. However, even as the body of Christ might be taking a step back from using the fresh anointing and fire given to us for ministry, we should not neglect the harvest of lost souls. The eternal destiny of many is at stake.

Miracle healing of arthritis in Dudley England

August 20, 2008

1) Report 2) Video testimony of miracle healing in Dudley 3) Comment

1) Today I was expecting The Lord to do wonderful things in town, and He didn’t disappoint me! During my prayer time, God had laid on my heart what Jesus Himself had prayed in John 17 verse 18: “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.” When Jesus commissioned the disciples in John 20 he said in verse 21 “Peace to you. As The Father has sent Me, I also send you.” What an amazing revelation and promise! This is available for each of us so we can show people how real Jesus is. Look at John 14 verse 12: “Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” The ultimate purpose for this Jesus states in verse 13: “that The Father may be glorified in The Son.”
Today I prayed for a man who had recently converted to the Mormon church. He was suffering from psoriasis, and chronic eczema. As I have been healed of eczema many years ago after a word of knowledge from Benny Hinn I always pray with confidence when I pray for someone with skin conditions. As I prayed laying my hands on his hands he felt heat on his legs and told me he also had the condition on his legs which I hadn’t known before. My prayer is that he would discover the true Jesus of the Bible, and not the deception of Mormonism. I prayed for a lady with high blood pressure and a hip problem. After I had done this, a couple approached me asking if I could help them. They had seen me pray for the other lady. This encouraged me because I had prayed for people to approach me and also it meant they must have some faith too to believe for miracles. I could see that the lady was in much pain. She had been suffering with arthritis, particularly in her left leg. I asked her to bend her leg. She could hardly bend it at all without pain. I prayed for her, and the pain left her completely as she felt “the presence of someone else” touch her, and freedom of movement returned! She was amazed as she told her husband how the pain had gone! They both got born again as well praying the prayer of salvation, removing doubt about where they will go when they die. The lady shares her miracle here. See this:

3) The move of God’s Spirit that started in Lakeland Florida and has come here to England and other parts of the world seems to show no signs of stopping. In fact, revival is coming to the UK, and clearly healings, signs, wonders, and miracles will be an important part of it. I want to take time to personally honour my pastor Trevor Baker for his input into my life, and also Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries who came here while I was on The School of the Supernatural in October 2007, and who God has used so mightily in this current revival. The wonderful thing about the worldwide outpouring and revival is that it is not about any one individual though, but The Lord Jesus Christ building His Kingdom through the body of Christ. Today I watched The Olympics where the Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt broke the 200m world record by running to gold in a time of 19.3 seconds. He had previously won gold in the 100m breaking the world record but what was interesting about this race was that he was focused on the winning line, did not look to the left and the right to his other competitors, and ran flat out to achieve the record. In the same way we are called to surrender everything to Jesus, and as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9 verse 24: “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” Does that involve pointing the finger at others? No, we must “press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3 verse 14)

God touches man with arthritis in Dudley

August 19, 2008

I went out into Dudley town centre briefly today, and met a couple who were on holiday for a short time here in the West Midlands. They actually live near the coast in a beautiful part of Wales, The Gower Pensinsula, a place I’d be very happy to go on holiday which in fact I did at the time of my wife and my fifth wedding anniversary five years ago! It turned out that the man had been suffering for some time with a number of physical ailments, including a hiatus hernia, a heart condition, and arthritis in his legs. It isn’t always easy to ascertain whether certain conditions have been healed, but he testified to feeling the power of God, the pain diminishing, and more. See this:

As I haven’t been available to go out on the streets for a while now, this was an encouragement to me. Also, I believe that God gave me a word of knowledge as I called out that the man had been part of a ramblers group. He confirmed this, and this encouraged us to believe that he would soon return to this major interest of his.
The Lakeland revival has undoubtedly focused on miracle healings, and the potential for the whole body of Christ to move like the early church in the book of Acts to spread the gospel through a supernatural demonstration. This is not a time for the church to back away but to press in to our mandate, revealing the love and power of Jesus Christ to everyone within our sphere of influence whatever that may be. If you’ve been reading this blog and just need the opportunities and the boldness to pray for people then let me pray for you now:
“Father let the person reading this now receive a fresh impartation of Your Spirit to share Your love and power with the lost and those who need Your touch. Let them have divine appointments, and the faith and boldness rooted in love to see people’s lives transformed by You for Your glory in Jesus name Amen.”
Let me know how you get on as you share Christ. My email is steelsfirm@aol.com
God bless you.

Florida healing outpouring revival is for global evangelism

August 16, 2008

Many people are asking whether the outpouring that has hit Florida will continue. The short answer is yes because just as it broke out in Ignited Church Lakeland in early April 2008 so it will continue there, and continue to go around the world. It is important to remember that this has been a sovereign move of God, and not about any one person. It’s not about Todd Bentley, Pastor Stephen Strader or anyone else but about the Lord Jesus Christ visiting the body of Christ, equipping the saints to build His Kingdom through them, and to Him alone be all the glory. In my opinion, there has been too much emphasis placed upon the vessels of His presence and power, and not enough on the author of all creation, God Himself. When that happens, there can be adverse consequences. History has shown that.
However, as people press in to God, seek His face, and don’t get distracted by people and events, then I believe He will continue to pour out His Spirit sovereignly, and we will see His love and power heal, deliver, and save the lost. Let’s focus on The Lord, and the great end time mandate, evangelism for global harvest.
After a short holiday in Cornwall, my wife fell ill with suspected meningitis, and was taken to hospital. She may not have had meningitis, but she is much better now. It has not been an easy few weeks, but I recognise that God is still in the process of allowing His body to go through some trials to refine them, and I have not been exempt from that myself. We should be excited though, about the greater glory of God’s presence coming to the church, and the increase in signs, wonders and miracles to reach the lost. We must press in to see full scale revival. I have felt the need to spend more time with my family, and more time with God in the secret place. I don’t want to get too busy “doing God’s work” because when that happens we can lose intimacy, fire and passion and get physically and spiritually tired.
I have had a few divine appointments, and seen God’s power touch people though. One young man felt God touch his broken leg, started walking without his crutch and believed he was enjoying a healing. I shared the gospel with him more fully, inviting him to give his life to Jesus. He told me that that didn’t fit in with his life plans as a 16 year old, and sadly at that point he said the leg condition came back, although he hadn’t been in pain previously, just restriction of movement, so without him walking I’m not sure how he could have sensed that it had come back. What I do believe is that when we see people healed and share the gospel it is down to the individual to make their choice, and yes, people can lose their healing, particularly if they don’t give glory to Jesus.

One on occasion when I was visiting my wife in hospital, I saw a young man who I had ministered to previously come out of hospital with a broken finger and had had an X-ray done. I prayed for him and he felt tingling in his finger which I believe was God’s power touching him. I also spoke to a lady sitting just outside the hospital who told me that she was struggling with giving up alcohol, and she was bruised on her face. I suspect there was more to her story, but she wanted prayer. When I prayed for her she tangibly felt God’s presence flow in to her which I told her was the love of Jesus Christ. She wasn’t ready to accept Christ at that moment saying she wanted to do things one step at a time, but I believe it was a divine appointment. What I didn’t know was that my wife’s room was literally directly above, and she had seen me and took a picture of me ministering:

I also prayed for a Christian from another local church in Dudley in town with a leg problem. He told me he felt like the Holy Spirit was massaging his leg, and when I saw him a few minutes later, he said he was moving much better with no pain. I also saw a man handing out cards for his wife who is a psychic, and invited them both to attend our meetings and see the supernatural for themselves.
Also, our church went out corporately on the streets of Dudley during the Joel’s Army conference last week with Brian Johnson ministering in the meetings. In town, people got healed and saved. Please pray for us as we continue to carry God’s love, fire and healing anointing outside the church. Pray for divine appointments, miracles, salvations, and those who do accept Christ to become radical disciples for Him. This is a time to seek God more fervently, while at the same time not neglect the harvest fields.

Young woman receives miracle healing from arthritis in Dudley

July 22, 2008

Today I went into the streets with my son Justin and his friend Ben. Justin noticed a young woman with piercings and tatoos and encouraged Ben to go with him and share Christ with her. As they did so, another young woman called Jo came up to them, and they chatted. It emerged that Jo had suffered with arthritis on a long term basis. She told us she was in pain. I told her about the website and she was happy to be filmed as we prayed for her. What happened next was glorious because Jesus touched her, she tangibly felt fire on her back, felt lightheaded as God touched her body, and she got instantly miraculously healed. See this:

While she wasn’t ready to accept Christ at this point, I was aware that Jo was very interested in what we had all shared with her, and most of all we didn’t just have a message in word only, but in power. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 1 verse 5 “For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.” (King James Version)
It’s also important for us to remember that we’re there to facilitate people having an encounter with God and ultimately it is down to the individual what they do with Jesus once they have discovered how real He is, and how much He loves them. What is certain is what I said in yesterday’s blog entry that documents two salvations that occured as a result of a miracle healing. Once someone has received an obvious experience of God whether it be through a word of knowledge, a miracle healing, or His tangible presence, it’s something they are likely to remember for a very long time, perhaps their whole life! We as the body of Christ have the responsibility to show people how real Jesus Christ is through love, compassion, and His miracle working power.
There are enough videos of the kingdom of darkness on the internet with the likes of violence and pornography, isn’t it time the church demonstrated The Kingdom of Heaven outside of the four walls of church buildings? Let’s believe that many people will encounter Jesus as a result, and there will be a great harvest of souls. Now’s the time we all need to surrender ourselves fully to The Lord, and press in to see full scale revival. To God be all the glory.

People witness miracle healing in Dudley, salvations result.

July 21, 2008

Today was beautifully warm and sunny, and I went into town looking for people to share Jesus with. I walked past a group of people including one woman who I recognised as having spoken to before who confirmed that her friend who I had prayed for was now feeling much better. She was with a group of friends, mainly elderly, and one young man, 14 years old who was there with his grandmother. This opened things up for me to be able to offer healing prayer to the people in this small group. The woman told me that her friend had suffered with arthritis for ten years. The lady with arthritis was happy for me to pray for her. She told me that she was in pain in her neck and back. I was aware that people were watching, so I knew that this could result in several people seeing how real Jesus is. When I prayed, the lady told me she felt heat, and the pain left her. She was amazed when she started moving her neck from side to side free of pain something that she had not been able to do before, and also she was happy with what God was doing with her back as well. She confirmed that she was healed, and kept saying to her friends “I can’t believe it!” She was convicted to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Her grandson, 14, had been watching, and after talking to him, he wanted to give his life to Christ too. After leading him through the prayer of salvation, I laid my hand on him and prayed for him, and he admitted to tangibly feeling God’s presence. I told him that once you tangibly feel the presence of God, you are never the same again. God also gave me words of knowledge for both of them which they both confirmed to be right. One of the friends of the woman who was healed in that group of observers testifies to the miracle healing she saw after that woman and her grandson had left. See this:

It’s interesting that The Lord is allowing situations where people on the streets can see the miracles unfolding without me having contrived that. My vision is for that to draw people’s attention to Jesus because He alone can transform people’s lives and shape their eternal destinies. Increasingly more people in the local community are now aware of what God is doing in our church and out on the streets. I want them to start talking about what Jesus is doing because I always stress that miracles come from God alone, and that’s why all the glory goes to Him. My prayer is that as they see what is happening on the streets, they would come to our church, most importantly whether they come to our church or not that they would ultimately become radical followers of Jesus Christ.

Todd Bentley, Lakeland revival, God TV, and The Dudley outpouring

July 12, 2008

Update January 19th 2013: In the light of history it’s easy to be critical of the Lakeland outpouring, and although mistakes were made, it must not be forgotten that for the most part it was an authentic and powerful move of God that saw many awesome testimonies fully documented. I stand by the original article I wrote in 2008 that you can see here in that I believe God’s desire through Lakeland was to empower the church for harvest. Was there an excessive focus on the evangelist on the platform? Yes and as a result I believe that that hindered what God wanted to do through it. History shows that in past revivals The Church squandered golden opportunities it was given to be restored to its Early Church paradigm of moving in love, unity and great power to see a glorious harvest of souls, and go beyond what even the early church walked in. The same mistakes must not be made again. Too many people look to the minister at the front and feel inadequate. This comes down to a misperception of their identity. Higher levels of authority are conditional and come out of intimacy with The Lord, but every believer has an authority that comes purely out of knowing their identity in Christ. There is only one Kingdom worth seeing built and that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In defense of Todd I believe that he understood what God was wanting to do in Lakeland and that is why he would stay late into the night to make sure that everyone who wanted it received an impartation to take back to their city, region, and nation. Many did use what God gave them, but sadly I believe that a big opportunity was missed for reasons mentioned earlier. Paul Keith Davis referred to the Lakeland revival as being the last of an old order. I would agree, but I believe it was meant to be the beginning of something as well. What is encouraging are some prophecies relating to the apostolic for our new season that we can embrace and see His Kingdom come. With that in mind, here is my archived entry from July 2008:

2008/07/12
Let’s look at the bigger picture again because it does tie in with posts in this blog that document through video footage miraculous healings on our streets.

Many people are not convinced that this new move of God is genuine. As a result, there has been criticism. However, much of this comes from people who have never been to any of the meetings. I’ve been to Lakeland, and many evening meetings in Dudley, and I can tell you that without a shadow of doubt this is an authentic move of God.

With over 100 nights of revival in Florida, initially breaking out at a conference in Ignited Church, Lakeland, Florida pastored by Stephen Strader with evangelist Todd Bentley and Fresh Fire Ministries, and over 75 nights in my church Revival Fires Dudley pastored by Trevor Baker, people from all over the world are coming to experience God’s glory presence, receive miracle healings, and receive impartation. The question people are asking is what is God doing? What is His sovereign purpose for pouring out His Spirit so powerfully?

One of the most notable features of this move is that people are getting more intimate with God through worship, especially as they experience His manifest presence, and also people are getting physically healed. There are many testimonies of this that you can find on the internet through going to http://www.revivalfires.org.uk http://www.ignitedchurch.com http://www.freshfire.ca and http://www.god.tv Miracles bring glory to God. They point to Jesus, and if people look to the minister who has prayed for people and not The Lord Jesus Christ then they are missing the point. Miracles of physical healing demonstrate the veracity of Jesus Christ, and tell us that God loves people, and sickness is not His will for our lives. They also lead people to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I’ve found that when I’ve been out ministering in the streets in Dudley and elsewhere that the demonstration of The Spirit’s power is far more effective that any “enticing words of man’s wisdom”. ( 1 Corinthians 2 4-5) , and you can see from the testimonies and video footage in this blog that that bears true. When I don’t minister in my own strength and God shows up and does what He wants to do, the results are so much better! We need The Word and The Spirit together, not sterile religion devoid of a genuine encounter with a loving and all powerful God.

I agree with what I’ve heard from Todd Bentley, my pastor Trevor Baker, John Arnott, Mark Stibbe, Jerame Nelson, Charlie Robinson, John Laframboise, Patricia King, Bob Jones, Paul Keith Davis, Keith Miller, and many other notable speakers that this revival, this outpouring is for the harvesting of souls. It is to empower the church for harvest. Yes we need God’s love and compassion. However, we need something that will show people that Jesus Christ is God, and the only way to Heaven. We have an inheritance as the body of Christ that we have neglected for generations. We have believed the lie that miracles were just for the early church, or at best the special apostles, but the bible never said that. Why is it that people who start stepping out in obedience to God to pray for people with signs, wonders, and miracles following are then persecuted by the church? People are accused of trying to build their own thing, or not operating in God’s power. People often get jealous, or if they can’t understand something or believe in it, will attack it.

It needs to be emphasised that this move of God is for all the body of Christ. A powerless church is not going to be effective. With so much pornography, violence, and degradation available on the internet, isn’t it time that we as the body of Christ showed people The Kingdom of Heaven invading earth? I’d like to see the internet full of videos of ordinary people being used by God doing great exploits in His name (Daniel 11 : 32 “And the people who know their God will be strong, and do mighty exploits.”) Do we want to see genuine revival in our community? Then let’s seek God and pray fervently, but also take the fire out there with much love and compassion onto the streets, our communities, in our workplace, amongst our family, friends, and neighbours. Bobby Conner says “talk is cheap. Evidence persuades.” Some years ago God lead me to start a website jesusevidence.org to show people that Jesus is real. I started off by collecting historical documentation about Jesus. It went a long way to proving His existence in history. I realised that I needed to demonstrate His divinity on the website too though. God showed me that evidence of His supernatural works today would be very compelling. I started researching into other phenomena such as the bible codes, the Turin Shroud, near death experiences, and signs, wonders, and miracles. This lead me on a fascinating journey of exploration. I would have found it difficult to imagine that I’d be praying for people and seeing Jesus miraculously heal them in front of my eyes and even on camera for me to put on the website to glorify His name.
The simple truth is that we live in a sceptical world that are tired of religion. People want a tangible encounter with God! When people get miraculously healed, or receive a word of knowledge that could have only come from God, or just experience His manifest presence then it often softens their hearts, and brings conviction to save them. That’s why we owe it to the lost to introduce them to the reality of who God is, and The Kingdom of Heaven. Testimonies glorify Jesus Christ, stir people’s faith, and show them He is real.

I would encourage people to continue to tune into God TV, and watch the Florida outpouring meetings. You can also view meetings at Revival Fires Church Dudley on the internet live.
Let’s all be encouraged to take a risk for Jesus. He died for you and me. Let’s give Him everything we have, and remember how valuable every person is to Him. Let’s also love and encourage each other to step into all that God has for each one of us. The Lord is building His Kingdom, and to Him alone be all the glory, the honour, and the praise!
