February 29th: God’s presence and salvation

February 29, 2008

I went out on the streets with a friend, Simon. We talked to a number of people, and had the privilege of praying with one young man who experienced the presence of God as we prayed which he found unusual. We spoke with one young lady, Sarah, who told us that she was having problems in her relationship. She felt she was evil, and wanted to wipe the slate clean and have a fresh start. This is exactly why Jesus came! She accepted Jesus Christ into her life and heart.

Salvation and His presence: February 21st

February 29, 2008

I prayed for a lady who had had a long term condition. While she didn’t experience instant improvement, she did experience God’s tangible presence. This was enough to convince her of the reality of Jesus, and she prayed the prayer of salvation, and got saved.

Eyesight improves: a surprise divine appointment!

Last week was a good week in the streets with a release of words of knowledge, two people praying the prayer of salvation, and one lady who accepted Christ experiencing tangible improvement physically. Today I had a very short time on the streets. I noticed an elderly lady with a stick, and initially seemed reluctant to approach her, but then I sensed The Spirit telling me that she was greatly loved and I needed to ask her if she wanted prayer. When I spoke to her she told me that her eyesight was much improved since I prayed. I was embarrassed not to remember who she was until she reminded me of where I had prayed for her with my friend David nearly three weeks ago. She told me that she went back the same day to check her eyesight by looking at the television. She said that she could see colour images in a way she hadn’t been able to before. I told her to believe for complete recovery. God is so good! It was a real encouragement to me and I look forward to going out soon and seeing Christ’s miraculous healing touch, and I’m seeking The Lord for more complete instantaneous healings rather than just partial ones, albeit that those are good too.

God’s miraculous touch on woman in the streets

On January 31st, it didn’t start out easy by any means, but I did have some meaningful conversations with people, including a muslim man, but at the end I approached a lady who I sensed had a physical condition. I told her that God loved her and wanted to heal her. She told me she had lupus. I told her to expect God’s touch as I prayed, and that that wouldn’t just mean she was receiving healing, but getting God’s manifest love. As I prayed the lady said she felt a tingling sensation, then a charge, and improvement in her  shoulder. I lead her through the prayer of salvation, and she gave her life to Jesus. I invited her to our church.
